Children and Young People at St Mary’s

When the current crisis is over we will restart these activities.
Unfortunately they are not possible under current guidelines.

Sunday Club & Sunday Club Plus

Who is it for?
Any child who comes to Church.

Where and when?
Every Sunday during the 10am Parish Eucharist Service, either in the hall or at the back of church.

Tell me more
We think about Bible Stories, play games, do crafts, play with toys, make and eat food … it’s different every time.

Messy Church

Who is it for?
Children of any age and their parents or carers.

Where and when?
Six times a year either at St Mary’s or Attleborough Methodist Church. Look out for details of dates.

Tell me more
We always start with bacon rolls, biscuits and drinks. We do a choice of crafts, junk models and colouring. We conclude the session with songs and a Bible Story.
Messy Church is run jointly with our friends at Attleborough Methodist Church.

Choristers in St Mary’s Choir

Who is it for?
Children aged 6 or over.

Where and when?
The children practise together on Fridays from 6.30pm, and usually sing twice a month on Sunday mornings.

Tell me more
Choristers benefit from free musical tuition; learn to read music, sing well and perform regularly, while celebrating the joy of music.  They can make new friends and share in the pride of achievement. Above all they have fun together.

Email the Director of Music for more details.

Friday Fun Club

Who is it for?
Any child in year 3 or above.

Where and when?
One Friday a month after school, between 4.30pm and 6.15pm, in the Church Hall.

Tell me more
There are crafts, competitions, games, lego and a 5 minute serious slot during which we think about a cause or charity … we’ve learnt about Unicef, Christian Aid, Oxfam and others. And we cook and share a meal together (and wash up). Donation of £1 per session.
Email the Church Office for more details.
