Sunday Club & Creche: Sundays, 10am
St Mary's Sunday Club and Creche meet during the 10am Service on alternate weeks during school term time. You can find the dates here. There are a wide range of fun activities for children to take part in.
Children are welcome at St Mary's on other Sundays and at other services too. Every Sunday when there's no Sunday Club, we have Sunday Club Plus: organised activities for children at the back of the church. And there's a comfortable area for children in the church with toys and books.
Messy Church is a form of church for children and adults that involves creativity, celebration and hospitality. We organise Messy Church jointly with our friends at Attleborough Methodist Church. We meet for breakfast bacon rolls or other goodies, followed by a variety of fun craft activities and then a celebration time involving stories, prayers and songs. It's entirely free and everyone's welcome!
In 2018, Messy Church takes place as follows:
Saturday 20 January, 9.30am at the Methodist Church
Saturday 17 March, 9.30am at the Methodist Church
Wednesday 16 May, 3.45pm at St Mary's
Saturday 7 July, 9.30am at St Mary's
Wednesday 19 September, 3.45pm at St Mary's
Saturday 17 November, 9.30am at the Methodist Church
Boys and girls from the age of 6 upwards are welcome in St Mary's Choir. The children sing with the adults about twice a month on Sunday mornings, and occasionally at other times during the year. They practice together for an hour or so (depending on their age) on a Friday evening. They learn the basics of reading music, performing in public, are introduced to a range of music from six centuries and make lots of friends! There's no audition: you just need to be willing to have fun and try your best! If you're interested in finding out more, email the Director of Music.
