We are pleased to announce the Revd Deborah Hamilton-Grey joined us from Tuesday as a curate on secondment. She was ordained Deacon in July and will be commuting into the Benefice for the next six months. Please make Deborah welcome and keep her in your prayers as she begins this new stage in her ministry amongst us.

Deborah and her husband Michael have recently moved to Norfolk from theological training at the College of the Resurrection in Mirfield in West Yorkshire.

Both Deborah and Michael feel called to Norfolk to explore Rural Ministry and the secondment in Attleborough is something that they both are looking forward to as a part of this.

Prior to theological education Deborah practiced as a Clinical Director for her own business, and still maintains her Accreditation as a Senior Practitioner with B.A.C.P. Deborah has worked in a variety of settings in Project Management with Housing Associations and also voluntary work in Drug and Alcohol units.

Deborah writes, “Hospitality and healing, and preaching are some of the primary areas that I am interested in, particularly how we as the Church, the  “body of Christ” here on earth, are to enable and facilitate Christ’s challenge to us, to “love one another”, and “welcome the stranger”. I look forward to the opportunity of learning more about this in Attleborough over the next few months.

Every blessing of peace
Deborah

We met Deborah at Alnmouth Priory retreat a number of years ago on a visit from Falkirk and would like to catch up news.
We would be happy to hear from her on e mail given in this reply to St Mary's website
