‘May they all be one, so that the world may believe’: This was our Lord's own prayer for the unity of His friends. The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity begins tomorrow (Monday) and concludes on Monday 25, the Feast of the Conversion of St Paul. It’s our annual opportunity to join with Christians around the world in seeking the healing of the divisions which separate us from each other.
The sermon at Evensong tonight will prepare us for the Week of Prayer, we will pray for the gift of unity at all our regular services this week, and from Monday to Friday we will gather with other Christians in Attleborough for prayers at 12 noon every day:
Monday 18th at the Lighthouse, Hargham Road
Tuesday 19th at the Baptist Church, Leys Lane
Wednesday 20th at St Mary's
Thursday 21st at the Methodist Church, London Road
Friday 22nd at St Mary's
