Saturday 3 June, 7.30pm
Your chance to meet our candidates
The General Election takes place on Thursday 8 June, and the previous Saturday night you’re invited to St Mary’s to meet some of the candidates standing for election in the Mid Norfolk constituency.
All five candidates – for the Conservative, Green, Labour, Liberal Democrat, and Green parties – have been invited, and three have confirmed that they will be present.
Each candidate will introduce themselves and any policies of their party that they wish to highlight. Afterwards, questions will be taken from YOU – on any topic or policy you want to ask about. The evening will be chaired by the Rector of Attleborough, who will be neutral and impartial.
Coffee will be available from 7.15pm.
There is a long tradition of churches in Britain organising election hustings to help voters make informed, educated decisions, and foster a high quality of political debate.
Everyone is welcome to attend. If you know you’re coming, it would help our planning if you request FREE tickets from the Church Office (drop in Monday to Friday 10am to 12 noon, or phone 454977), but you’re welcome to come even if you don’t get a ticket.
