"Yea, Lord we greet thee, born this happy morning." Happy Christmas from everyone at St Mary's.
The church was packed this afternoon for the Crib Service and Christingle. Here are a few photos to put you in the Christmas Spirit. The Church was looking and sounding festive this evening as a full Church enjoyed the annual Traditional Carol Service. Many thanks to all our readers who were representing the local community. Thanks too to our Choir and Organists for their hard work. St Mary's was abuzz this morning as we held the annual Christmas Workshop for Children. There were six stations each with things to make and take home. Thanks to everyone who helped make the morning such a success. A great new cafe to offer support to those living with dementia and their carers launched in the Church Hall on Friday.

The Youth Group toured the nursing homes in Attleborough to sing carols and there were two festive concerts in the evening - Wymondham Choral Society at St Mary's (see below) and Diss Salvation Army Songsters in Besthorpe Church (see above). http://www.edp24.co.uk/news/attleborough_christmas_lights_1_3877085?id=11&storyId=1.3877086
St Mary's was bustling this afternoon for the annual Carol-oke. After the town Christmas lights were turned on people assembled to sing their favourite carols. Many thanks to the Live-wire Opera Company who came along to lead the singing. |
