Have you got tomorrow's Craft Fair in your diary. It looks like there is also a Craft Fair at Connaught Hall so with stalls across three buildings there should be lots of lovely handmade things to choose from.
The usual Christmas Day Lunch will be held in St Mary's Church Hall on 25th December. Anyone who would otherwise be alone is most welcome to enjoy a tasty meal and good company.
Guests are invited to arrive around 11 o'clock (lifts are available) for a festive drink and carol singing. After lunch "with all the trimmings" there will be some light entertainment. We shall watch the Queen at 3 o'clock and guests will depart after a cup of tea and a mince pie.
There is no charge for the lunch but it will be possible to make a donation to St Martin's Housing Trust.

An important part of our Parish Life is to pray for one another. We have a cycle of prayer which encourages people to pray for different aspects of the life of our community on a monthly cycle. If you would like to join in praying for the Church and Community you can pick up the new prayer cycle in Church or download it below.
On Sunday we held a fundraising lunch for Christian Aid in the hall at St Mary's. Members of St Mary's, Attleborough Baptist Church and Attleborough Methodist Church enjoyed some lovely food and fellowship. We were honoured to be joined by Dasu, Simon and Katie from Christian Aid.
Dasu is visiting the East of England from Nigeria. It is his first time travelling abroad and he is racking up new experiences at quite a rate - his first plane ride, his first time on a train and on Saturday night his first experience of snow. Dasu described the constant fight against malaria in his part of Nigeria and the importance of mosquito nets. Just £3 buys a net like the one Dasu had with him but can be a real lifesaver.
Thanks to everyone who came, cooked the food, served the drink and organised the event.

Warning. This video has been deemed offensive by cinema advertisers. It's actually quite lovely.
After the success of previous years, we are again running the Benefice Christmas Greetings Scheme. Instead of sending individual Christmas cards to all your friends in the Church, send your greetings via our scheme. We need completed forms by the end of the day on 6th December, please. You can download the form below.
The Christmas Card will be available in Church from 13th December or available to download from this website.
