Thank you to our choir and organists, flower arrangers, servers, readers, intercessors, stewards and everyone else who worked so hard to make a success of the week. What a great team we have!

We had a great weekend celebrating the Joy of the Resurrection. After an emotional Holy Week some highlights of the weekend included the Easter Vigil, presenting Choristers with their medals at the Parish Eucharist in front of a packed Church and the Hallelujah Chorus with the evening sunlight flooding into the Church for Choral Evensong.

There's lots going on in our Churches as we approach Holy Week and Easter. We'd love to see you for as much as you can make. Together we join in the last weeks of Jesus' earthly life as we 'Walk the Way of the Cross'. Through the Services of Holy Week we join in his triumphant procession into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday; we are there in the Upper Room as he washes the disciples' feet on Maundy Thursday and we stand at the foot of the Cross on Good Friday. Then begins the time of waiting. On Easter Eve we gather for the Vigil during which we hear the history of salvation, we light a fire and spread the joy of the resurrection. Then we gather again on Easter Day to celebrate the joy of Easter with all God's people. ![]() Join us on Sunday evening, 7th April, as Passiontide begins, to 'Walk the way of the Cross'. There will be readings and special music; including 'Crucifixus' by Lotti and Leighton's 'Solus ad victimam'. The service begins at 6.30pm. |
