Two guests will be coming to talk to us. Dr James Gardom lectures on Christianity around the globe at the University of Cambridge and in the 1990s he worked at a seminary in Harare, Zimbabwe, training priests. (Some of you will remember his daughter Clare who spoke to us about L’Arche last Lent.) Fr Monodeep Daniel is Chair of the Delhi Brotherhood Society in India, an Anglican organisation with its roots in the work of Victorian missionaries which is now involved in educational, vocational and healthcare programmes for the poor, marginalised and weaker members of Indian society.
We’ll start with wine and coffee at 7.30pm followed by a talk (in the church) and questions, finishing at 9pm. All are welcome for what promises to be a very interesting and encouraging evening.
